Magnolia and Ruffles
A change to the usual white or ivory, the base colour of this cake was a very pale citrus green. An ombré effect travels up the cake from jade at the bottom through shades of sea green ruffles to pale citrus. Subtle pearl damask stencilling adds detail to the top tier, and stylised sugar magnolias in complementary colours finish the look. The image of the top tier of the cake sitting by itself demonstrates that a smaller cake can be equally as beautiful as a larger one.
